The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has told the Delhi High Court it may reconsider using CLAT-PG scores as a criterion for hiring lawyers.
The statement came before a bench of Chief Justice D.K. Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela during a plea challenging NHAI’s August 11 notification.
The petitioner argued that CLAT-PG is meant for postgraduate admissions, not recruitment, making the rule arbitrary.
NHAI has extended the application deadline to September 25, while the court will hear the matter next on September 18.
