NLU Odisha Students Indefinite Protest Over Policies and Poor Facilities

Students at National Law University Odisha (NLUO) began an ongoing protest on January 24, expressing their dissatisfaction with academic policies, inadequate facilities, and privacy issues.

The Student Council pointed out problems such as broken Wi-Fi, dirty restrooms, and limited access to the library, all while paying high fees.

Students also voiced worries about unexpected changes in grading methods, strict hostel regulations, and privacy violations, including leaked Aadhaar information.

They accused the administration of downplaying mental health issues and not responding to their complaints.

Seeking transparency and improved services, students stated that the protest comes after multiple unsuccessful attempts to communicate with university officials.
