The Delhi High Court upheld the conviction of advocate Sanjay Rathore for threatening and outraging the modesty of a woman judge during court proceedings in 2015.
Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma called it an attack on judicial decorum and institutional integrity.
The Court noted that Rathore's behavior, including using sexually colored remarks and abusive language, was not only personal misconduct but also a systemic issue reflecting the challenges faced by women in the judiciary.
The Court rejected Rathore’s plea for leniency and ordered him to surrender within 15 days to serve his remaining sentence.
