The Karnataka High Court has issued notice to the Centre and State in a plea filed on behalf of three Pakistani minor children seeking protection from coercive action until May 15, 2025.
The children entered India on valid visas in January but were denied re-entry at the Attari border after a Pahalgam security incident led to visa revocation. They later returned to Mysore, where their extension request remains pending.
The plea invokes Articles 21 and 226 of the Constitution and Section 3 of the Foreigners Act, 1946.
The matter is listed for hearing on May 9, 2025.
