MP High Court Petition Accuses Dainik Bhaskar & Navdunia of Islamophobic Reporting in Bhopal Rape Case

A petition in the Madhya Pradesh High Court seeks criminal action against Hindi newspapers Navdunia and Dainik Bhaskar for allegedly linking the Bhopal rape case to the Muslim community using the term “Love Jihad,” which has no legal standing.

The petitioner argues that this targets Muslims and violates Articles 14, 15, 19, 21, and 25 of the Constitution.

The plea demands FIRs and stricter media regulations to prevent communal reporting. The matter is scheduled for hearing on June 19.
