Fresh Plea Filed in Allahabad High Court Seeking Cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s Citizenship and Passport

A fresh PIL has been filed in the Allahabad High Court by BJP member Vignesh Shishir seeking cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s Indian citizenship and passport. The plea also demands a travel ban on Gandhi during the pendency of his alleged citizenship issue.

This follows Shishir's earlier PIL, which was disposed of after the Centre could not provide a timeline for action, allowing him to pursue other legal remedies.

Shishir claims to have obtained confidential documents from the UK government indicating Gandhi's British nationality. The fresh PIL is scheduled for hearing next week.
