Suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna has once again approached a special court for bail in the rape case against him. The High Court earlier directed him to move the trial court, asking it to decide within ten days of filing.
Revanna had earlier failed to get bail and cited delays in the trial as a change in circumstances. He faces serious charges including rape, voyeurism, and criminal intimidation in four cases linked to over 2,900 explicit clips circulated online.
One case was filed by a former domestic worker who accused him of repeated sexual assault. The trial court will give its verdict on July 30.
