Project 39A Moves from NLUD to NALSAR, Renamed as The Square Circle Clinic

Project 39A is transitioning from National Law University Delhi to NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, under the new name "The Square Circle Clinic."

The organization works across various areas, including mental health and incarceration, forensics and sentencing, legal aid and capital punishment, custodial violence, prison art education, and storytelling initiatives. It also plans to expand its work in the criminal justice system.

Providing pro bono representation, it has secured 26 acquittals, 50 commutations, and the release of 1,625 undertrials. Recognized by the Supreme Court of India, the Law Commission, and the UN, it aims to ensure equal access to justice for all.
