The Rajasthan HC dismissed writ petitions challenging the final answer key issued for the Dental Medical Officer’s exam conducted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS).
The Court ruled that Judicial Interference is warranted only when there are significant and demonstrable errors in the answer key. The petitioners argued that the answer key was objectively incorrect and violated their fundamental rights.
RUHS contended that judicial review in administrative decisions is limited and provided expert opinions as authoritative. Referring to the cases of Sindhu B.S. v UOI (2024) and Kanpur University v. Samir Gupta, the court upheld academic expert’s decisions and dismissed the petitions.
