Rajasthan High Court Extends Asaram Bapu’s Interim Bail in 2013 Rape Case Till August 29

The Rajasthan High Court has extended the interim bail granted to self-styled godman Asaram Bapu in a 2013 rape case till August 29, 2025, citing his medical condition.

The Court directed the Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, to constitute a board of at least two cardiologists and one neurologist to examine him within three days.

The Board must assess his cardiac and neurological issues and determine if hospitalisation or continuous medical attendance is necessary.

The extension follows a Supreme Court order allowing him to seek relief if his health deteriorates. The matter is listed for August 27, 2025.
