Retired Punjab and Haryana High Court Judges, Chief Justices to Get ₹45k–₹50k Monthly for Domestic Help

The Haryana government has notified the “Retired Chief Justices and Judges Domestic Help(s) and Other Benefits Rules, 2025,” offering monthly allowances to retired Chief Justices and Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and their spouses.

Retired Chief Justices or their spouses will receive ₹50,000 per month, while retired Judges or their spouses will get ₹45,000 to engage domestic help or drivers.

An additional ₹15,000 is provided for communication and security services. These benefits are conditional upon the retiree not receiving similar perks elsewhere.

The allowances will increase by 5% annually, and two court staff may be deputed if required.
