Sadhguru Moves Delhi High Court Against Misuse of Name, AI-Generated Content

Spiritual leader Sadhguru (Jagdish Vasudev) approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality rights against unauthorised use of his name and image.

His counsel alleged that rogue websites and AI-generated content were misusing his identity to promote books like Garbh Yatra (on pregnancy) and fraudulent investment schemes such as 'Trendastic Prism'. The plea stated that such misuse misleads the public and commercially exploits his persona.

Google’s counsel submitted that it acts on reported URLs but does not proactively block content.

The court has reserved its order on the issue.
