Samsung files Lawsuit against CCI for Illegal Raid

Samsung Electronics has taken legal action against India's Competition Commission (CCI) in the High Court of Chandigarh.

The company claims CCI held its employees and took secret information during a search in 2022.

This search was part of a probe into possible unfair business practices by Amazon and Flipkart. Samsung says CCI copied private data from staff phones without asking for it. 

Now, Samsung wants to stop CCI from using this evidence in its investigation. The court has put a hold on the case for now.

CCI plans to challenge this decision in the Supreme Court.
