Supreme Court Directs Delhi Police to Complete Probe in Ex-IAS Puja Khedkar’s UPSC Cheating Case

  • Case Name: Puja Manorama Dilip Khedkar v. State of NCT of Delhi
  • Judge(s): Justices BV Nagarathna and Satish Chandra Sharma

The Supreme Court has directed the Delhi Police to steadfastly complete the investigation into ex-IAS officer Puja Khedkar, who was accused of submitting fake OBC and PwD certificates for the 2022 UPSC exam.

A bench questioned why Delhi police were not completing the investigation, noting Khedkar had submitted an affidavit of willingness to cooperate.

The police claimed she forged documents to exceed her exam attempt limit and hinted at a larger scam. They sought her Judicial custody, but the court denied it.

Her interim protection from arrest was extended, and the court will hear her anticipatory bail plea on April 15.
