The Supreme Court has directed the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority to cooperate with homebuyers seeking to revive a stalled housing project abandoned by the original builder.
Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta criticized the Authority’s lack of cooperation and sought details of demands that would have been imposed if the project had been completed as planned.
Stranded homebuyers, affected by the builder's financial mismanagement, have requested to take over the project.
The Court instructed the Authority to provide necessary details within a week, ensuring proportional charges are assigned based on apartment size.
The next hearing is on March 25.
