Supreme Court Gives Alok Nath Interim Protection from Arrest in Investor Fraud Case

The Supreme Court has granted actor Alok Nath interim protection from arrest in multiple FIRs filed in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana over alleged investor fraud linked to SAGA Group’s cooperative society.

A bench of Justices B.V. Nagarathna and R. Mahadevan barred coercive action and issued notices to state authorities.

Nath claimed his only role was as a brand ambassador in promotional material nearly a decade ago and sought consolidation of all FIRs, asserting he wasn’t involved in financial operations.

The case will be heard further soon.
