SC introduced Partial Court working days instead of Summer Vacations

The Supreme Court Rules, 2013 have been amended to replace "summer vacation" with "partial court working days" following criticism of extended summer breaks

Effective from 2025, partial court working days will run from May 26 to July 14, replacing the term in the SC calendar. 

The term "Vacation Judge" is now replaced with "Judge", reflecting that the Court continues to function partially during breaks. 

The amended rule has reduced the total holidays from 103 days to 95 days.
