NEET-PG 2025 Postponed After Supreme Court Orders Single-Shift Exam

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has postponed NEET-PG 2025, originally scheduled for June 15, following the Supreme Court's directive to conduct the exam in a single shift instead of two.

The Court observed that holding exams in multiple shifts leads to arbitrariness, as question papers can differ in difficulty. Initially scheduled for June 15, the exam will now be held on a later date to allow NBE to arrange more test centres and required infrastructure.

The Court had emphasized transparency and fairness, rejecting NBE’s claim of logistical concerns.

A revised exam date will be notified shortly by the NBE.
