Senior Advocate Dushyant Dave Bids Farewell to Legal Profession After 48 Years at the Bar

Senior Advocate Dushyant Dave, after 48 years at the Bar, has announced his retirement from the legal profession at age 70.

In a message, he said there was no specific reason, but he wants to make space for younger lawyers. He confirmed he would not return to argue even in important cases.

He plans to work for society, adopt a taluk in Sankheda (Gujarat), and enjoy reading, travelling, and pursuing his passions and desire to spend more time with family.

He is known for his strong voice on justice. Dave served three terms as SCBA President and played key roles in major constitutional and public interest cases over the last four decades.
