State Investigation Agency Conducts 8 Srinagar Raids in 1990 Sarla Bhat Murder Case

The Jammu and Kashmir State Investigation Agency (SIA) searched eight locations in Srinagar in connection with the 1990 abduction and killing of Kashmiri Pandit nurse Sarla Bhat.

The raids recovered incriminating evidence aimed at uncovering the terrorist conspiracy and delivering justice to Bhat’s family.

BJP leader Amit Malviya condemned the 1990 atrocity, abduction from SKIMS Soura, torture, gang rape, mutilation, and mutilation, calling it part of an ethnic cleansing campaign against Kashmiri Pandits.

Waqf Board Chairperson Darakhshan Andrabi praised the reopening, stating that justice delayed 35 years now proceeds under the current administration.
