Supreme Court Advises Lawyers For Use of Video Conferencing Amid Severe Delhi Air Pollution

The Supreme Court Registry has issued an advisory requesting lawyers and litigants to make use of video conferencing or hybrid hearing facilities in view of deteriorating air quality in Delhi.

The advisory follows Delhi’s Air Quality Index reaching severe to hazardous levels.

As per a circular dated December 14, advocates and parties may appear via video conferencing in matters listed before the Supreme Court, if convenient.

The circular has been circulated to the Supreme Court Bar Association and Advocates-on-Record Association.
