Supreme Court Seeks Finance Ministry’s View on Sahara’s Proposal to Sell Properties to Adani

The Supreme Court has sought the Finance Ministry’s response to the Sahara Group’s proposal to sell 88 prime properties to the Adani Group.

The sale aims to raise funds to repay billions owed to investors.

The Court is monitoring the process to ensure transparency and maximise returns for depositors. The Court also asked Amicus Curiae Shekhar Naphade to examine the claims and prepare a detailed chart indicating which properties are under dispute and which are not.

The matter is scheduled for further hearing on November 17.
