The Supreme Court has identified 45,098 pending cases for amicable resolution through mediation and Lok Adalat mechanisms under its new nationwide initiative, "Samadhan Samaroh."
Scheduled for August 21–23, 2026, the program aims to provide "doorstep delivery of justice" by resolving suitable disputes on a large scale.
Under the guidance of Chief Justice Surya Kant, the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has called for active cooperation from lawyers to facilitate these settlements.
Case details will be uploaded to the SCBA website, and a digital portal will be launched for advocates to submit additional matters suitable for mediation to ensure the initiative's success.
