Supreme Court Hosts 10th National Stakeholders Meet on Safeguarding the Girl Child

The Supreme Court is hosting the 10th National Annual Stakeholders Consultation on “Safeguarding The Girl Child” from October 11–12, 2025.

Led by the Juvenile Justice Committee and UNICEF India, the event focuses on strengthening the protection and empowerment of girls.

Key sessions address the right to birth and education, cybercrime safety, prevention of abuse, trafficking, child marriage, and effective enforcement of the POCSO Act.

Chief Justice B.R. Gavai will inaugurate the consultation. Senior officials from the Ministries of Women and Child Development, Health, and Education will participate in the concluding session to chart a national action plan for girl child protection.
