"Sweep the Streets in Your Lamborghini": Karnataka High Court Slams Traffic Violator

The Karnataka High Court has ordered the owner of a green Lamborghini, to perform community service as a condition for quashing a criminal case against him.

Justice M Nagaprasanna passed the direction after a video of the accused driving recklessly with a retrofitted silencer went viral.

When the accused offered to teach school children about traffic rules, the Bench dismissed the idea as ironic, noting that a violator shouldn't be the one teaching rules to students.

The judge held, "You will go in your Lamborghini, sweep the streets, and come back in your Lamborghini," emphasizing that the penalty should correlate with the offense.
