At least three judges of the Bombay High Court have recused themselves from hearing HDFC Bank CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan’s plea to quash an FIR filed by Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust.
The FIR accuses Jagdishan of accepting a ₹2.05 crore bribe and misusing his position to interfere in the Trust’s internal matters.
One judge stepped aside after disclosing shareholding in HDFC, while others recused citing prior connections to the Trust.
The matter is now expected to be listed before a new bench on June 30.
