Tripura becomes the first Indian state to organise an exhibition dedicated to the country’s reformed criminal laws. Held in Agartala, the exhibition highlights key changes introduced under three new legislations: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).
Officials say the event aims to raise awareness among law enforcement, legal professionals, and the general public about the laws replacing IPC, CrPC, and the Evidence Act.
The exhibition features panel discussions, visual displays, and interactive sessions as part of Tripura's push for legal literacy and better implementation of justice reforms.
