Elon Musk-led DOGE Faces Several Lawsuits Hours After Donald Trump Takes Office

President Donald Trump has started the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an advisory group headed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The goal is to reduce federal jobs and agencies while updating government technology.

Vivek Ramaswamy, who was a co-chair of this department, has left to run for governor of Ohio. Although DOGE has ambitious objectives, it does not have the authority to make changes, leading to lawsuits from unions and watchdog groups over possible breaches of advisory laws.

Therefore, this Department is raising questions about its effectiveness. Legal actions against DOGE's activities have already been initiated.
