“Tu Hai Kya Cheez, Bahar Mil”: Convict & Lawyer Threaten Woman Judge After Conviction in Delhi Court

A Delhi court witnessed shocking scenes as a 63-year-old convict and his lawyer verbally abused and threatened Judicial Magistrate Shivangi Mangla after she convicted the accused under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

The convict even attempted to throw an object at the judge, vowing violent retaliation. They pressured her to resign and threatened to file false complaints unless the judgment was reversed. 

The judge directed that appropriate action be taken before the National Commission for Women and issued a show cause notice to Advocate Atul Kumar for potential criminal contempt.
