The Supreme Court today declined to stay a board meeting of Raghuvanshi Investment Private Limited but ordered that certain agenda items, including director appointments, be excluded.
The Bench emphasized that the family should prioritize mediation over litigation, noting the advanced age of 80-year-old Rani Kapur.
The Court remarked, "We all came with empty hands and will go with empty hands," urging a settlement regarding the disputed family trust. The case involves allegations that Rani Kapur’s assets were fraudulently transferred to a trust.
The Bench requested all parties to avoid actions that could jeopardize the ongoing mediation process.
