What is Ad-Interim Relief?

Ad-interim relief is a temporary and immediate relief granted by a court at the very first stage of a case, often without hearing the opposite party.

It is given to prevent irreparable harm or to maintain the status quo until the court hears both sides and decides on interim relief.

Ad-interim orders are short-term in nature and remain in force only until further judicial consideration.
