Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder: Businessman Killed, Wife Among 5 Arrested for Murder

More than two weeks after Uttar Pradesh businessman Raghavanshi Soni was murdered during his honeymoon in Meghalaya, police have arrested five people, including his wife, Sonam Raghavanshi.

East Khasi Hills police confirmed that Raghavanshi was strangled on May 27 in Sohra. 

The alleged mastermind, 21-year-old Raj Kushwah, reportedly in a relationship with Sonam, never visited Meghalaya but planned the murder remotely. All the accused were arrested from different locations.

Police believe the murder was pre-planned and carried out in coordination. The investigation continues, with further leads being examined.
