Woman Detained After Viral Video Shows Petrol Bomb Attack Outside Orissa High Court

A 38-year-old woman was detained after a viral video exposed a shocking arson attack outside the Orissa High Court in Cuttack.

The accused allegedly carried petrol-filled bottles, asked bystanders to record her actions, and hurled them toward the court’s boundary wall. The bottles missed the premises but set fire to four parked vehicles, including an SUV. No injuries were reported.

The footage helped police quickly identify and apprehend her.

Authorities have termed the act deliberate and premeditated, while investigations are ongoing to determine her motive and examine possible lapses in security around the High Court premises.
