BCI Issues Notice to DSK Legal for Violating Legal Advertising Rules

The Bar Council of India (BCI) issued a notice to DSK Legal, directing the firm to remove an advertisement featuring Bollywood actor Rahul Bose and submit proof of compliance.

DSK Legal posted an Instagram video featuring actor Rahul Bose, implying that clients should have "blind faith" in the firm.

However, BCI rules strictly prohibit law firms from advertising their services. After receiving a notice from the BCI, the firm took down the video. 

After the DSK Legal ad controversy, the BCI warned against unethical legal ads and celebrity endorsements, calling them professional misconduct.
