Nashik Court Rejects Anticipatory Bail for TCS Employee in "Systemic Brainwashing" Case

Nashik Court denied anticipatory bail to Nida Khan, an employee of Tata Consultancy Services, observing that the case involves a "multi-dimensional" plan to brainwash a Dalit colleague toward religious conversion.

The Court noted that the allegations suggest an organized attempt to influence the victim through sexual harassment, outraging religious sentiments, and coercion.

The Court highlighted specific claims that Khan aided co-accused individuals in teaching the victim objectionable stories about Hinduism and providing her with religious attire.

Given the complexity of the investigation and the seriousness of charges, the Court ruled that Khan’s custodial interrogation is necessary.
