A Public Interest Litigation has been filed before the Delhi High Court seeking directions to de-register the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and bar Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Durgesh Pathak from contesting elections.
The plea alleges that the leaders refused to participate in proceedings before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma in the Delhi excise policy matter and also referred to alleged social media posts targeting the judge.
The petition claims that such actions violate provisions relating to constitutional principles and electoral conduct.
The matter is listed for hearing before a Bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia.
