Senior Advocate Nakul Dewan has been honored with the prestigious King’s Counsel (KC) title in the UK for his exceptional legal skills.
A barrister at Twenty Essex, he specializes in commercial litigation, international arbitration, and corporate disputes across India, Singapore, and the UK. Dewan, a graduate of SRCC and the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, holds an LL.M. from NYU and NUS.
His notable cases include Internet and Mobile Association of India v. RBI, overturning the crypto ban, and GMR Energy Ltd. v. Doosan Power Systems India Pvt. Ltd. in arbitration.
NLSIU alumnus Niranjan Venkatesan has also been appointed King’s Counsel alongside him.
