Supreme Court to Hold ‘Samadhan Samaroh’ Special Lok Adalat in August

The Supreme Court has launched "SAMADHAN SAMAROH 2026," a nationwide initiative aimed at the amicable settlement of pending cases through mediation.

This program will culminate in a Special Lok Adalat scheduled for August 21, 22, and 23, 2026. Litigants, advocates, and stakeholders can participate either physically or virtually to resolve disputes such as matrimonial matters, land acquisition, and labor cases.

The initiative, which began on April 21, encourages consensual resolution to reduce judicial backlog. Interested parties must register via the official Google Form by May 31, 2026.

This move highlights the Court's commitment to faster, cost-effective justice through negotiated settlements.
